To clarify, my dear son plays hockey. I don’t just hang out in arenas for something to do 🙂 And I’m a huge wimp when it comes to cold weather. Having lived in Yellowknife, NWT for two years and Ottawa, Ontario for almost 8 years (7 winters), you’d think I would be used to the cold. But nope. I don’t think I will ever enjoy cold weather but we do what we have to do. Layer, layer and more layering. And as of late, doing all errands at once so I only have to go out the once 🙂
I missed a few ‘Work In Progress’ Wednesday posts and more importantly, I completely forgot to post last Wednesday to celebrate my most awesome and most favourite son’s birthday!
I do this every year. Spend endless hours prepping for my daughter’s birthday and then completely crash and burn when it comes to Gabe’s. His birthday falls when I am busy creating handmade and shipping handmade around the world. Hoping one year I can get my act together early enough to do something a little more special for the boy. Thankfully, he’s a trouper and totally understands. That’s one of the reasons why he is my favourite son 🙂 And because he is soooooo cute!
And yes I know. Rylee received a handmade quilt for her birthday and Gabe did not. I’m working on it. Really, I am 🙂 And sadly, when going through my photo library, Rylee wins yet again for far more photos than I have of Gabe. Second child syndrome?
Hope you are having a fabulous day and thanks for stoppin’ by!
