I received a message via Etsy asking if I could create a custom vendor apron. Upon first read of the message, I did not realize the writer, Robyn from Drakestail, also lived in Ottawa. After a few back and forth exchanges, Robyn, the sweetest gal ever, visited to select the fabrics for her apron.
It’s always fun to have visitors in my studio.
Robyn preferred a classic look to the apron, one which would reflect the style of her beautiful jewelry. She knew exactly what she wanted and selected cream and black print fabrics.
Being that her next craft show was approaching within the week, I began creating the apron immediately and this is the result:
She was pleased and I really like the way the fabrics worked together. Whenever I create vendor aprons, I generally use tons of colour and at least five different fabrics. The apron for Robyn used only three fabrics but it turned out to be very classy and stylish, even without the touch of red I usually throw into any project 🙂
Robyn advised the apron did exactly what she needed it to do. It held her phone, a notebook, her Square Card for processing payments, pens and everything else she needed to have on hand. Robyn is participating in a few more shows this year and you can find out which shows she will be attending by visiting her Etsy Store.
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend and thanks for stoppin’ by!
